"Good medium red. Black raspberry, spices and minerals on the nose. Then concentrated, sweet and intense, with lovely cut to the flavors of dark fruits and pepper. This, too, is blacker in character than the 2008 version but boasts excellent intensity and plenty of lift. Finishes with fine, dusty tannins and noteworthy persistence."
