"Vinified entirely in old barriques, the bone-dry 1997 Vouvray Sec reveals a rich, honeyed nose of white flowers and minerals. Iodine, salt, chalk, tangy citrus fruit, and sea shell-like flavors can be found in this lovely, medium-bodied wine. It is refreshing, wonderfully ripe, and crisp."
