"Donnhoffâs 2004 Schlossbockelheimer Kupfergrube Riesling Spatlese offers an almost fiery spice to go with its aromas of distilled tiny-berried raspberries and blueberries. Somehow, the expression 'copper flashing' comes to mind for this wine named for a former copper mine. The palate offers a liqueur-like intensity of berry essences with amazing density and finishing with claw-like grip and tactile pungency. 'A whole ânother world from Norheim, isnât it?' remarks Donnhoff."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
