"The opaque purple-colored, dense, full-bodied 1997 Reserve Diamond Mountain Proprietary Red (a blend of 40% Petit Verdot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 23% Merlot) is a blockbuster. The wine possesses loads of violet-tinged blackberry and cassis fruit with hints of graphite. . .complex, concentrated, potentially long-lived classic. . ."
