"Medium red. Seductive aromas of blackberry, kirsch, spice cake and potpourri, with a subtle mineral undercurrent. Weighty dark berry flavors are impressively pure, with a smoky cola-like quality emerging with air. While this is a tad brooding today, the power and purity of its fruit are impressive, and the finish is deeply sweet, focused and extremely long. Hands off, for a while."
