"The massive, opaque purple-colored 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon is extremely backward and dense, and requires another 2-3 years of bottle age. The wine is formidably-endowed, with gobs of smoky blackcurrant fruit intelligently wrapped with toasty oak from aging in new barrels. Full-bodied, rich, powerful, muscular, and tannic, this is an impressive, immense Cabernet Sauvignon that is impeccably well-balanced for its huge size."
