"An incredible sense of deja vu occurred when tasting this wine, which in 2002, I had compared to the 1990 La Tâche from the DRC. In this vertical tasting, that was again the first thought that came to my mind. The black currants, black cherries, kirsch, licorice and forest floor notes, full-bodied richness, and incredible, suave, Burgundian style make this a dead-ringer for a grand cru from Vosne-RomanÊe. At age 13, this 2000 is still going strong."
