"The NV Trilogia is an interesting one-off (according to the winemaker), a blend of the 1900 (10%), 1934 (20%) and 1965 vintages. It is sumptuous and delicious, another stunning old Moscatel from Fonseca. The aromatics initially impress, but the palate is just as good. The wine combines richness and bracing acidity. It dribbles the fine flavors over the palate, managing to be sweet, intensely flavorful and utterly delicious while maintaining a sunny, elegant and lively demeanor. The acidity makes the fruit linger on the finish—and that is a very good thing. This is not, alas, imported into the USA."
