"Readers who want no part of the moderately sweet, explosive style of Condrieu should check out Pichon's 1990 Condrieu-Sec. It gets my nod as one of the two best Condrieus of the vintage. It possesses a fabulous aroma of jammy apricots and honeysuckle. In the mouth, there is super concentration and full body, but the wine is drier and easier to drink than the later-harvested Moelleux."
