"One of the more overt, fruit-driven wines in the range, the 2012 Pinot Noir Kanzler Vineyard offers lively immediacy. This is the one site in the Rivers-Marie range that is in the Russian River . . . very different from the other wines in the lineup. Hard candy, black cherries, cloves and menthol inform the juicy, extroverted finish."
