"The old vines here (planted just after the Second World War) always turn out a profoundly mineral interpretation of Puligny, and this is the case again in the ripe and buxom vintage of 2006. The bouquet is deep and lovely, as it offers up a mineral bath synthesized with notes of apple, grapefruit, floral tones and a touch of new wood. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, long, pure and racy, with excellent structure, a rock solid core of fruit and great focus and cut on the long and fairly primary finish."
