"The 2005 Malbec, from a densely planted vineyard in Agrelo started in 1925, contains a tiny amount of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Inky purple-colored, it reveals an excellent nose of vanilla, spice box, cedar, clove, and blackberry. Medium-bodied, firm, and structured, the wine has gobs of ripe fruit, and layers of flavor."
