90-93 AM âClassic Corton in style and weight with big, muscular and powerful flavors and a strong earth and game-infused nose. This wine is consistent with many '02 wines from this appellation as the tannins are dense yet refined and sophisticated. I particularly like the highly complex, delineated and precise finish and this has the potential to be a great wine that should drink well over 2+ decades.â 18.5 JR "Still relatively pale. Sweet, creamy nose â cherry cream pudding? Great weight of ripe fruit on the front of the palate, with tannins only sneaking up behind. Great stuff."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
Produces the world's most revered Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from a mosaic of tiny, terroir-defined climats. Its hierarchy of village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards makes site the ultimate expression of quality.
Corton is the Cote de Beaune's principal red Grand Cru, spanning the Corton hill across Aloxe-Corton and neighbors, producing powerful, tannic and structured Pinot Noir reds needing time to soften and unfold.
A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
