"This is an immense and firmly tannic young Syrah that's also blessed with lively acidity. The core blackberry and blueberry flavors are shaded by hints of beef, sage, herb and tobacco. It all comes together nicely on the finish, though it clearly needs cellaring to soften the rough edges."
