"Still surprisingly youthful and almost primary, the 2004 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape shows solid intensity and depth on the nose, with loads of ripe cherries, meat juice, licorice, and leafy herbs all showing. Ripe, rounded, and beautifully textured on the palate, this rock solid 2004 has excellent concentration, loads of fruit, and ripe tannin on the finish."
