"The 2006 Les Cras is another stellar wine in the making, as it offers up a very deep and serious nose of red and black cherries, red plum, rocky soil tones, coffee, herbs and a pungent topnote of violet. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, reserved and again, very sappy in the mid-palate, with fine-grained tannins, bright acids and outstanding length and grip on the complex and hauntingly well-balanced finish. Another simply stellar Chambolle premier cru."
