"The 2009 Chardonnay Old Guard is gorgeous. Citrus, lemon, minerals and crushed rocks are attractively woven together in this beautifully delineated, articulate wine. The 2009 boasts fabulous minerality, length and focus to match a racy personality that is highly appealing. Most of the fruit was sourced from Solomon Hills, although 10% came from Sanford & Benedict. Only 25% of the wine went through malolactic fermentation."
