Reviews
"52% syrah, 40% cabernet sauvignon and 8% petit verdot) Opaque ruby. Deep, smoky aromas of blackcurrant, cherry-cola, black pepper, vanilla, tobacco and smoked meat. Broad, chewy red and dark berry flavors gain sweetness with air while picking up strong, chewy tannins. Finishes long and impressively sappy. The 2005, which I retasted next to this, is more brooding and will need more patience."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
