"Wonderfully dense fruit of red raspberries and earth with plenty of Nuits character and long, quite complex flavors. There is a solid lashing of ripe tannins plus roasted coffee and slight torrefaction notes. Really quite well done and no hints of the rusticity that often occurs in the wines from the south end of the commune."
