"In contrast to the expressive noses of the two prior grands crus, this is almost reticent by comparison and only vigorous swirling would coax the broad-scaled and less obviously ripe nose to reveal itself, offering up notes of anise, peach, pear and orange blossom that merge seamlessly into textured, naturally sweet, powerful and robust full-bodied flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel yet excellent precision and cut as well. This is balanced, pure and much more classic in style than its two grands cru stable mates."
