"Good bright, deep red. Restrained but very ripe aromas of cherry, leather and truffle. Densely packed and superripe, with considerable power. This struck me as '47-like from barrel a year ago, and I have the same impression today. Finishes hugely tannic and palate-staining. This will age for a long time."
