"Jadot has been on a roll lately with its Latricières even though this is not one of their owned vineyards (see the note on the 2000 below). Wonderfully complex aromas of both red and black fruits, smoke, game, minerals and an interesting herbal component lead to pure, intense, mouth coating and sappy flavors of enormous depth and length. This is very classy juice and there is a certain vibrancy to the perfect acid/fruit balance that should permit this to be very long lived."
