". . .robust, full, generous and nicely detailed aromas that display very ripe orchard fruit notes, in particular apple and pear with a discreet nose of anise that give way to powerful, intense and muscular mineral-infused flavors of impressive weight and length. The concentration is such that this should be able to successfully integrate the wood but it is unlikely to ever become totally discreet. Still, this is most impressive as the finish just comes at you in waves."
