"Deep ruby. Perfumed aromas of blackberry, bitter chocolate, violet and pepper; this reminded me of Chateau Rauzan-Segla. Very dense, primary and intensely flavored, with penetrating flavors of darkest berries, bitter chocolate and licorice. Extremely backward, and currently dominated by its strong acids and firm tannic spine. Very subtle and very long on the aftertaste. A bit hard to taste today, but obviously a wine with outstanding potential."
