"Dark ruby. Black raspberry nose complicated by notes of toffee, smoke, lead pencil, game, roasted meat and melted butter. Full-bodied and large-scaled, with a note of ripe tomato to go with the black raspberry fruit. But quite backward and tightly structured today, with sound acids and firm tannins. Long on the finish. Very impressive."
