"The 2012 Vosne-Romanee Clos du Chateau had been bottled in late September as Louis-Michel wanted to keep the freshness. The 0.83-hectare clos lies within the village itself, just above from La Colombiere. It has a refined bouquet, very focused with subtle forest floor notes infusing the vibrant red and black fruit, before offering a touch of dried rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with superb focus and harmony. This is utterly seductive, gliding across the mouth, seamless and feminine. This is probably one of the finest Clos du Chateau that I have tasted from the domaine."
