"At 25 years of age this is barely breathing hard and while it is now fully mature it remains fresh and youthful with its dense nose of mostly secondary black fruit, spice, tea and earth-scented aromas. There is outstanding concentration to the vibrant, rich and powerful broad-shouldered flavors that brim with both dry extract and minerality, all wrapped in a sappy and breathtakingly long finale. This is a big and robust wine that even though it has arrived at its peak, it should hold there for several more decades."
