"This is one of the most expressive and flattering wines to taste in the cellars at the present time, as the wine jumps from the glass in a perfumed blend of cherries, plums, dusty rose, cocoa powder, orange rind and a lovely base of soil. On the palate the wine is medium-full, deep and velvety on the attack, but with the racking bringing the tannins out a bit on the long finish. The core of this wine is quite pure and sweet, and I have no doubt that the bit of uncovered tannin at present on the backend is simply a function of the racking. This will be an excellent wine."
