"The 2004 has an ethereal bouquet with lime leaf, candied apricot, a touch of chalk dust and a hint of guava. Wonderful definition and purity. The palate is beautifully balanced with perfect acidity. It is very focused, dancing on a hire wire with an understated, mineral-rich finish that lingers beautifully. Wonderful."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
Sheltered by the Vosges mountains, Alsace produces aromatic, mostly dry varietal whites - Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris - of exceptional purity and ageability.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
