"The 2000 Brut Fleur de Champagne Cuvée Belle Epoque is a powerful, tightly-wound wine that needs at least a few years in the cellar to come together. Smoke, minerals, earthiness, pears and apricots are just some of the nuances that emerge from this sinewy, structured Champagne. Though quite closed today, this shows quite a bit of promise for the future."
