"The aromas to this wine are very complex and brooding with black currant, sage and spearmint. Sous bois and wet earth too. Then turns to black fruits. Entrancing nose. This is full-bodied yet tight and focused with compressed tannins and a long finish. Very intense volcanic sea salt to the wine. A much more subtle and mind-provoking style."

The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
