". . .The bouquet is deep, pure and impressive, as it offers up a fine mélange of black cherries, cassis, tobacco, soil tones and a touch of unbaked cookie dough that tells me that oxidation is not to far off in the future. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and plush, with lovely mid-palate depth, very modest acidity, melted tannins, and good length on the velvety and easy-going finish. . ."
