"Medium garnet-brick in color, the 1999 Cabernet / Merlot offers a good core of dried mulberries and creme de cassis with nuances of sandalwood and baking spices. Medium-bodied and yet beautifully ripe, rich and concentrated, it has a great frame of medium levels of grainy tannins as well as balanced acidity, finishing with very good persistence."
