"The Dr. Loosen winery is the result of a merger induced by marriage of two wineries: Bernkastel-based Zach-Bergweiler-PrĂŒm-Erben (Dr. Adams) and Ărzig-based Dr. Loosen (Paul Loosen Erben). Following the acquisition of this estate by Ernst Friedrich Loosen in 1988 the two wineries have been jointly marketed under the unified Weingut Dr. Loosen name. Today the winery is undoubtedly one of the leading wine estates in Germany."
