"Healthy dark red. High-pitched, slightly high-toned perfume of currant, raspberry, fruity peppercorn, dried herbs and flowers. At once dense, sweet and brisk, showing enticing floral lift and piquant acidity to its penetrating red berry and pepper flavors. A classically taut 2011 with a seamless texture, fine-grained tannins, and a lively long aftertaste featuring strawberry, raspberry and flowers. This excellent wine closed up with air, suggesting that it needs time in the cellar. More Washington Cabernet Franc, please."
