" The 2012 Corton-Charlemagne from Bonneau du Martray was scheduled to be bottled the week following my visit in early April and is going to be another absolutely stellar vintage of this iconic wine. The bouquet is a classic mélange of apple, pear, lemon zest, limestone minerality, white flowers and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very long, with a great core of fruit, fine focus and grip and a long, zesty finish. Fine juice. (Drink between 2018-2035)"
