"The 2014 Morgon (sulfited) was bottled on 13 March, around a month prior to my visit. It has a pleasant red cherry and smudged strawberry bouquet that is a little reticent at first but then warms up in your presence. It’s a pretty little thing. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy, ripe tannin and a little more body than the 2013. There is a pleasant spicy note that lingers on the aftertaste. As Mathieu said – it’s a quintessential Beaujolais style . . ."
