"Dark bright red-ruby. Perfumed, spicy aromas of cassis, redcurrant, dark chocolate, loam, star anise and spicy oak, plus a whiff of game. Lush, rich and sweet; broad but nicely filled in. Finishes with fine, ripe tannins and good length. A fairly forward wine that has the balance to age."
