"The 2011 Xinomavro is an Old Vines (60-100 years, ungrafted vines) monovarietal, aged for 18 months in used oak (70/30 French to American). On opening, this was easily my favorite of the Amyndeon contingent (see the accompanying article) that wasn't named Alpha Estate. Earthy, fresh and powerful, it has a rustic demeanor, but I loved the earth, stones and gravel nuances on the palate."
