"OV is our nod to Oakford Vineyards, which once occupied part of the Futo estate. For two decades Oakford grew and produced wines of character that were true to the property. OV acknowledges this history, the wines and the people behind both. The inaugural vintage, 2005, is a strong compliment to the FUTO. It is well structured and packed with dark cherry and smoky minerality. - 126 cases bottled July 2007."

The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
