"(100% cabernet sauvignon, from John Caldwell's vineyard in Coombsville, picked at the end of October in '06) Aromas of blackcurrant, licorice and minerals, plus a whiff of mint. Dense and ripe but fresh, with a distinct delicacy and good verve to the black fruit flavors. Finishes supple and subtle, with very good lift and length. "Our grand prix wine," notes Mary Ann Tsai, who is also president of Luna Vineyards. . ."
