"Moderately saturated medium red. Raspberry, blackberry, violet and an element of smoked meat reduction on the nose. Sweet, supple and fat but reduced and hard to judge today. Quite closed on the back and a tad dry. This will certainly get a double racking before it goes into bottle, noted Philippe Roty."

A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
