"The 2012 Folatières also shows a blocked malo personality, but here the wine is far more interesting and light on its feet than the Referts. The bouquet is a blend of delicious apples, pears, chalky soil tones, white flowers, crème patissière and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and correct, with a good core, snappy acids and very good focus and grip on the moderately complex finish. A very pretty wine in its style."
