"Like the Beaune 'Teurons', the Bressandes is owned by Les Héritiers Louis Jadot and the vines are now closing in on thirty years of age and really starting to come into their own. The 2010 is a very sappy and classy example of the vintage, jumping from the glass in a fine mélange of red and black cherries, raw cocoa, fresh herbs, a complex base of soil tones and a deft framing of new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, long and very classy, with a sappy core of fruit, very fine-grained tannins and outstanding length and grip on the succulent and very soil-driven finish. A superb bottle in the making."

A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
