"The 2010 Valmur had also just been bottled the day before it was shown to me, but was absolutely singing. The deep, pure and utterly sophisticated nose offers up a magical blend of lime, green apple, tangerine, beeswax, chalky soil tones, citrus zest and lime blossoms. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and stunningly suave on the attack, with a rock solid core of fruit, an almost silky texture from the low yields, stunning focus and cut and great grip on the very, very long, transparent and brilliantly mineral finish. This is a great, great, great example of Valmur."
