"Bright, deep red. Black fruits, licorice, pepper, menthol and a balsamic nuance on the nose. Superconcentrated and voluminous, conveying an impression of almost 2009-like ripeness. And yet this silky wine also shows the tautness and brisk energy of 2010. Very long on the aftertaste, with substantial noble tannins that melt into the berry fruit. Deceptively accessible today, but this really needs a decade in the cellar to realize its potential."
