"A restrained and very cool nose offers up notes of citrus, pear, acacia blossom and a hint of spice. The round and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors possess a highly appealing sense of underlying tension along with plenty of volume before culminating in a beautifully complex and sneaky long finish. 2012 is a powerful yet elegant vintage for this wine that really coats the palate with dry extract and which will allow this to be enjoyed young if desired even though it should reward . . . years of cellar time."
