"There are only three barrels in 2010 of the Louis Jadot Latricières-Chambertin, which was purchased as grapes and vinified by the domaine. This is a great bottle in the making, as it offers up a very deep and complex nose of black cherries, plums, raw cocoa, beautiful soil tones, a touch of venison, woodsmoke and a fine base of spicy oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and sappy at the core, with great nascent complexity, ripe, but very fine-grained tannins, excellent focus and balance and a very long, tangy and transparent finish. This is a great wine."
