"Made from very old un-grafted Riesling wines planted in 1902, the Longuicher Herrenberg Kabinett starts off with subtle and complex scents of pink grapefruit, fresh pineapple, pear and rose-water immersed into a sea of smoke and green apple. This leads to a rather powerful feel (from dry extracts but also from the 9% of alcohol) on the palate, where riper pink grapefruit, fresh pear and mint freshen up the delicately mouth-watering and almond-infused after taste. This expression of a Kabinett only needs some bottle age to gain in finesse and elegance."
