"(14.5% alcohol): Medium ruby. Brooding aromas of cassis, black cherry and creosote, with some superripe porty tones. Fat and rich but energetic, with its ripeness accentuated by exotic sweet oak. A big, no-holds-barred wine with considerable sweetness and a chocolatey ripeness to its substantial tannins. The first vintage for this flagship bottling."
